Track Plan

Byron Creek is a room sized layout 16 feet long and 12 feet wide. The main line goes around the walls and the large central peninsular features the Murrumbong Branch. Many years of operating the layout, chopping, changing and adding extra sections has seen the layout grow from a small bedroom layout into its present large form.

The layout is able to provide an appropriate setting for nearly all types of locomotive and train that the NSWGR ran in the 1960’s and 70’s.  As it stands now, the layout provides a large variety of operational scenarios which includes the crossing of trains, main and branchline traffic interhcange, large goods and passenger trains, small branchline trains and railcars.
